Orthodontic Retainers

Vivera™ Retainers

Upon completing your treatment, we provide Vivera Retainers to most of our patients. These thin, transparent trays fit precisely over your teeth, offering a discreet appearance similar to Invisalign® Clear Aligners. Vivera Retainers provide a convenient and virtually invisible way to keep your smile design intact. For optimal hygiene, ensure you clean your retainer each time it is removed.

Hawley Retainers

Hawley retainers use a combination of molded acrylic and durable metal wires. While more traditional in appearance, they are exceptionally dependable and highly effective at maintaining long-term alignment. These retainers are removable and fully customizable to suit your needs.

Bonded Retainers

Bonded retainers, or fixed retainers, provide advanced security for patients with a higher risk of dental regression. A single, specialized wire is cemented directly to the back of your teeth to provide constant support.

While these remain in place at all times, you will use a floss threader to maintain professional-level oral hygiene. Because bonded retainers primarily secure the front teeth, they are often used in conjunction with Vivera Retainers for full-smile stability. We will advise if you are a candidate for this permanent solution during your first orthodontic visit.
