⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!I honestly don’t even know where to begin. As a mother of a daughter with autism and an intellectual disability, finding someone willing to truly take the time and have the patience to work with her has not been easy.Before coming here, I took my daughter to about five different orthodontists trying to get her the care she needed. I was told more than once that braces probably wouldn’t work for her and that she may not tolerate them. As her mom, that was heartbreaking because I wanted her to have the same opportunity as any other child to have a beautiful, healthy smile.Then we found Dr. Tongco and Smile & Co. Family Orthodontics, and our experience was completely different.Dr. Tongco didn’t just look at my daughter’s disability and decide what she couldn’t do. She was willing to TRY. She took her time with her, had patience with her, and gave my daughter a chance when other places wouldn’t. That alone means more to me than I can put into words.Has having braces been easy? Absolutely not. When you have a child with special needs, things that may seem simple to other familieslike brushing thoroughly, keeping braces clean, sitting through appointments, and following instructions—can be a real challenge. But Dr. Tongco and her team have continued to work with us through it all.And when I look at my daughter’s teeth now… WOW. ❤️ The difference is amazing. What if my teeth have been sensitive to other whitening products?
GLO whitening gel is specially formulated to be sensitivity free. It is free of alcohol and carbamide peroxide and is designed to stay put on teeth and off gums and soft tissue.
How long do ILLUME teeth whitening results last?
How long your ILLUME teeth whitening results last depends on various factors, many of which have to do with lifestyle choices. We like to remind people that if it could stain a white t-shirt, it could stain your teeth, so it’s important to be strategic about enjoying certain foods and drinks. Drinking with a straw and immediately swishing with water after having coffee, tea, wine, and other drinks that can stain, for example, can help your whitening treatment results last a little longer. Brushing with a whitening toothpaste can also help, and we or your dentist will be happy to recommend one if you’re not sure which one to choose.
In any case, it’s good to avoid eating or drinking anything that could stain for 48 hours after whitening to allow results to stabilize without staining and make sure your results last as long as possible.
